Trusted Connections
Roblox's system that lets age-verified users chat more freely with people they actually know, even across age groups. For users under 13, a parent must approve each connection.
How kids use it
A linked parent is automatically a Trusted Connection. Review the list monthly — anyone your kid can't explain is worth removing.
Good news — "Trusted Connections" is a protective feature, not a threat. The catch with platform safety features is that most ship OFF by default, or only half-configured.
- Turn it on deliberately and re-check it after big app updates — settings occasionally reset or move.
