Short for 'look' or 'look at this.' Used to get someone's attention online, often followed by a link, screenshot, or comment. Parents might see it in comments or DMs when a teen is sharing content with friends.
How kids use it
Comment on a post: 'lok this is crazy lol' or in DM: 'lok check your snap'
No — "Lok" is ordinary 2026 teen vocabulary, not a warning sign. Knowing it just makes you harder to talk past.
