Snap Map's privacy setting that hides your location from everyone while still letting you see the map. The single most important Snapchat setting for a teen account — location sharing off by default, shared only deliberately with specific people.

Good news — "Ghost Mode" is a protective feature, not a threat. The catch with platform safety features is that most ship OFF by default, or only half-configured.
