Mewing

Pressing the tongue to the roof of the mouth in the belief it sharpens the jawline. A viral 'looksmaxxing' micro-trend; kids also mime it (finger to lips, tracing the jaw) to jokingly say 'I'm busy improving my face.' Harmless in itself, but it comes from body-image-obsessed corners of the internet.

How kids use it

Classroom joke + looksmaxxing content.
