Lookalike account
Risk flagA fake account created to impersonate or closely mimic a real person's profile—usually a peer, celebrity, or influencer. Scammers and predators use lookalikes to deceive people into thinking they're talking to someone trustworthy, or to catfish and build false relationships. Parents should know this as a common grooming and sextortion setup tactic.
