Quora
Watch riskRated Watch · How we rate
A Q&A site whose recommendation feed freely surfaces adult and graphic answers to logged-in minors — there's no kid mode.
| Minimum age | 13 |
|---|---|
| Strangers can contact | Yes |
| Location sharing | No |
| Disappearing messages | No |
| Parental visibility | Limited |
Quora is a question-and-answer platform that can be genuinely useful, but its feed mixes in sexual, violent, and other adult-themed questions with no meaningful age filtering. Answers are user-written and unvetted, so solid information sits right next to confident nonsense. There are no parental controls — treat it like open web access, not a kids' resource.
Quora offers basic content filters. Review your child's account settings to adjust content recommendations and mute or block topics that contain mature or irrelevant content. You can also turn off notifications to reduce engagement friction.
